Something big coming & wedding sneak peek. March 28, 2011

Sick together. That’s what my husband & I have been. If you guessed we had a movie marathon this weekend, you’d be absolutely correct. Then again, I didn’t really give you much time to guess there, did I? ;)

Since my husband loves the challenge of finding movies I have never seen before, we managed to find at the library (yes, the library! free movies & $20 in our pockets vs. blockbuster. Who doesn’t like to save money, be lame & go to the library? …Oh. Only us, apparently.) these movies: The Shawshank Redemption, Matchstick Men, Firewall & the Star Trek movie (never having seen the show). Now, if you go saying I missed out in my childhood – I’ll tell you I didn’t. I may have missed out on some awesome movies (you can also count in: Jurassic Park, I am Sam, Forest Gump. I know, what kind of childhood did I have, really?), but my family was busy living in other countries, like Mexico, & so I had an awesome, rare childhood (my dad’s company moved us around a lot) that I can look back on & love! It’s allowed me to have already seen so many cultures in my short life so far, have some amazing & crazy memories (how many people have hangglided over Rio De Janeiro?!), be fluent in spanish (almost necessary when you live so close to Miami. Not that it’s all you hear in Miami – just 95% of what you hear.)* & look forward to traveling someday with my husband  :)

I guess I’ve left you in suspense long enough. The big news is that I’ll be moving my blog soon! Getting a new link & even better-lookin’ blog. I’m hoping for tomorrow…we’ll see if I can manage that or not  :) In the first blog post on the new blog, I’ll also be putting up the pictures from a beautiful wedding in Key Largo that I second shot with the Churchill’s two weekends ago. Here is my absolutely favorite shot from the wedding…

*Random fact: I also like to use way too many parentheses. (Just because.)

Happy Monday! :)

Happy Tuesday! What is everyone up to tonight? The hubby and I are playing tennis with friends. We bought tennis rackets at wal-mart last week ($19 each! woot!) and went to the park for an hour and attempted playing tennis for the first time in many years. Luckily the guys on the court beside us had plenty of patience, for all the balls that came flying their way and our constant ridiculous laughing & apologizing. The score was an even 2-2 for balls hit over and outside the fence court. Fun times :) Hoping for more to be had tonight (for us and for everyone else to have a great tuesday night!)

And now, on to the main point in this blog post. Meet newborn Wilder!

Sleeping like a baby…

love the hat!!

He woke up at one point and checked us out with just one eye… super cute!

Trying to get him to go back to sleep…awwwwwwwwwww…what a yawn!

Have fun tonight, whatever you do! Wouldn’t hurt to maybe throw in some time for praying for David & I, that we don’t twist an ankle or anything ;)

Newborn photography is so awesome…even when the baby is not tired & won’t fall asleep, you can still get some cute cute pictures!

This little fella was not in the mood for sleeping…so we tried a different tactic…and I love the results! So sweet :)

Meet first-time mommy Geneva & her baby boy, Kolt!

I love the squished eye – adorable!

And how is it wednesday already?! Wow. If anyone can explain to me how it is that time passes by so fast, I’d really love them a whole extra lot. Oh, and also how to slow down time. Or make more time in a day, following three easy steps. Let me know! Really, I’m not asking for much. Just a few more hours in a day, that’s all. Simple.

:)
